How often should I get my carpets cleaned?

While every home is different, we recommend carpet and furniture cleaning every 12 months for residential customers. For commercial clients we suggest a fresh clean every 4-6 months.

What aftercare do you offer? 

Rubix Clean routinely recommend protecting fabrics which are a blend of natural fibres such as cotton, linen and viscous. Fully synthetic fabrics are more stain resistant but can still benefit from an application of protection.

What equipment do you use?

Our teams use the Prochem Endevour SX9500, This is a top of the line steam extraction unit capable of producing over 480psi of cleaning pressure and a powerful 8.4" vacuum motor to dry your carpets and upholstery as quickly as possible.

How long will my carpets take to dry?

Around 90% of carpets will be dry with 2 hours but carpets that are 100% wool may take longer. We carry specialist drying fans to help speed the process up.

How often should I get my carpets cleaned?

For people with allergies or breathing-related conditions such as asthma, doctors recommend carpets, upholstery and curtains be professionally cleaned every 3-6 months. For general carpet cleaning on an average use residential carpet, we suggest cleaning every 12 months.

What's your free re-clean policy?

We want all our customer to be fully satisfied with the quality of our cleaning service and if you are not fully satisfied we will offer to clean it again for free. We have a few terms and condition for this policy:

1. This guarantee does not mean we are able to remove all stains. Some stains are permeant and are not removable.

2. This guarantee is valid while we are onsite and does not include additional visits. When we are finished with our cleaning process we will ask you to take a look at the job and check you are happy with the results. If the customer is not present then we may be able to send pictures via email or sms but this will need to arranged before the booking is taken.

Do you charge extra for pet hair or wool carpets?

We offer a free carpet and/or upholstery inspection to check the condition, take measurements and correctly identify the type of fibre. This allows us to give you fixed, honest pricing. We are also a pet-friendly firm.

Do you move furniture?

We move as much furniture as we can within reason, but we do have some exceptions for health and safety as well as insurance purposes. We will move all small items of furniture but we are unable to move beds, wardrobes, heavy chests of draws or other large items.

Do I need to vacuum first?

No. We pre-vacuum all carpets and upholstery before we start. We use a powerful dual motor SEBO vacuum cleaner.

Do you have a minimum charge?

Can you remove all stains?

Unfortunately, due to the inherent nature of stains, no carpet cleaner can guarantee to remove all stains. We have the best equipment available and are fully trained in stain removal, but some fibres and highly susceptible to permanent staining.
